About The Event
This course runs for four (4) hours and is delivered by director Amanda Williams who is a qualified veterinary nurse. Included is your Allwinds Dog First Aid certificate which is valid for three (3) years from the date of completion of Module 2. We routinely work with members of The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons to ensure our course content and skills are kept fully up to date.

- What is Dog First Aid
- Legislation - Animal Welfare Act
- The Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966
- Being Prepared
- Performimg a Regular Health Check

- Safety and assessments
- The Recovery Position
- How a dog shows pain
- How to apply a temporary muzzle
