Allwinds Dog First Aid Practical Skills Day taking place at West Monkton Village Hall, Taunton, TA2 8NE from 10am until 2pm. Open for anyone wishing to update their practical skills, including certificate holders. Tea/coffee and light refreshments will be available.

About The Event

THIS IS THE PRACTICAL ELEMENTS TAKEN FROM OUR ALL DAY DOG FIRST AID COURSE. Is your dog first aid certificate still in date but you would like to brush up on your pracitcal skills? Are you a dog parent wanting to learn how to practice bandaging and CPR? This course runs for four (4) hours and is delivered by director Amanda Williams who is a qualified veterinary nurse. Included is your Allwinds Dog First Aid certificate of attendance. We routinely work with members of The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons to ensure our course content and skills are kept fully up to date.
Course content includes:
- Temporary muzzling - why, when and when not to
- Types of bleeds/wounds
- Bandaging techniques practical
- CPR
- CPR practical
- Choking/drowning
