About The Event
This course runs for three (3) hours and is delivered by director Amanda Williams who is a qualified veterinary nurse. Included is your Allwinds Dog First Aid certificate of attendance. We routinely work with members of The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons to ensure our course content and skills are kept fully up to date.
Course content includes:
- What is Dog First Aid?
- Being prepared
- Vitals
- Heatstroke
- Drowning/Dry drowning
- Jellyfish
- Dehydration
- Bites/Stings
- Ticks
- Minor wounds/bleeding/bandaging practical
- Grass seeds
